Katherine M. Gehl, Chairman

Katherine M. Gehl is the fourth-generation Chairman of the Board at Gehl Foods, Inc. Katherine has been a member of the board for thirteen years, and has led the development and execution of the company’s aggressive growth strategy on a full-time basis since 2007.

Katherine’s background includes roles as Vice President at Bernstein Investment Research and Management, Special Assistant to Mayor Richard M. Daley for Technology and Economic Development, Director of Information Technology Services at Chicago Public Schools and Director of Organizational Development at Oracle Corporation. She holds degrees from University of Notre Dame, Catholic University of America, and Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Katherine also serves on the Boards of Directors of The Joffrey Ballet, Public Allies and the Faye Gehl Conservation Foundation.

In 2010, Katherine was nominated by President Barack Obama to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), a position which requires confirmation by the US Senate.
